Love Monsters (IQR002) is three probably-decade-old tracks self-consciously recorded to a Yamaha MT400 Multi-track recorder. They were included as a part of a CDR mix I made for friends sometime in the early twenty-teens, I'm guessing. There are no digital timestamps, so they have been resting [un]comfortably in the ether for a while now.

Design school taught me that constraints breed creativity. My [limited] skill at playing instruments, my [also limited] knowledge of recording, and my [in]ability to keep a steady beat were the constraints. I hid everything in a distorted moan and a noisy collection of cables and ill-fitted adapters.

I'm not sure what you call the results, but I ultimately embraced and dialed *up* the amateur racket I created and let those constraints birth three goofy little tracks.

If you make it through all three, say "huh!", shake your head a little, and then go about your life, then I Quit and this release have done their humble job.

If you cringe a little too much, just go find that Circuits Made Simple release and forget the racket and the kazoo. And that unintentional-but-too-late-to-fix tempo change.
